Celebrating Excellence in the Global Islamic Investment Markets: Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony

The winners of the two prestigious Islamic Investment Awards were recognised at an impressive gala dinner at the event. The WIFCMC Capital Markets Excellence Award 2009 recognised HSBC Amanah for its excellence in the development of international Islamic capital markets, and for their pioneering initiatives in the Sukuk market. The Award was received on behalf of HSBC Amanah by Majed Najm the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bahrain. The WIFCMC Funds Excellence Award 2009 was awarded to Ithmaar Bank recognizing its outstanding contributions and achievements in the development of the Shari'ah-compliant funds industry. Sheikh Salman Al Khalifa, Managing Director-Group Business Development, Ithmaar Bank received the award on behalf of the institution.
