Bringing Together Borrowers and Lenders
With the rapid growth of the Islamic finance industry and the increasing popularity of Islamic finance as a solution for a growing number of businesses, ICFS 2011 which will be held on the 10th and 11th of October 2011 in Le Royal Meridien, Abu Dhabi, UAE, will create the ideal platform to bring all key components of the deal-making value chain together - the corporate banking leaders (both Islamic and conventional) and the corporate end users of these services to come together to develop long-term successful business relationships with one another and to ensure the objectives of both are achieved.
For almost 20 years MEGA has been supporting growth, excellence and innovation in the global Islamic finance industry, creating platforms that enable the leading international Islamic finance institutions to achieve successful business results. Our portfolio of brands represents the landmark industry conferences and our clients are the leading players in the international financial markets. Our most iconic brand is the World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC), which in 2011 is celebrating its 18th anniversary of gathering together more than 1,200 senior decision-makers representing the leading banks and financial institutions from over 50 countries across the world.
MEGA Growth Leadership Summits, the latest addition to our portfolio of world-class Islamic finance gatherings, are a new and innovative concept that will seek to engage the leading industry players in a more intimate and focused environment, enabling deeper interactions on specialised issues. With a much more interactively structured agenda format together with a unique mix of speakers representing both corporate borrowers and lenders, MEGA Growth Leadership Summits will focus on new emerging high growth areas for Islamic finance and will seek to open new market opportunities.
The Islamic Corporate Finance Summit represents a new and innovative concept in our portfolio of meetings and was originally suggested by senior corporate bankers who have participated in our large-scale conferences but wanted to engage the corporate end users of Islamic finance in a more intimate and focused environment. Similarly, the financial decision-makers within large corporations expressed an interest in exploring Islamic finance as an increasingly important component of their overall financing mix. The concept has developed into an innovative new form of summit, which is specifically tailored to expand business opportunities and meet the funding needs of large businesses.
